The workshop content (or learning objectives) is based on the ‘knowledge specification’ of the NVQ units. The optional units can be supported by assessor visits and materials gained from the workplace. The NVQ portfolio session is significant workshops where participants have the opportunity to have their portfolio or works reviewed and ask questions concerning the compilation of their portfolio.
