Description of course
The Royal College of Nursing has given guidance to workers in the NHS and independent sector to help reduce the prevalence of health care associated infections. Every health care employee has an important role to play in helping to minimise the risk of cross infection, health advisors and professionals.
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at anyone who visits clients and those who are working in a caring, teaching or health role. It is recommended for health workers, assistant care workers, or those working in schools, hospitals, residential nursing homes, and learning and physical disability homes.

Previous knowledge and skills required
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, delegates must have basic literacy and oral communication skills. Delegates must be committed, enthusiastic, motivated ana be able to work on their own and as part of a care/health team.
